Bequests for Scholarships

Bequests for Scholarships

The late Dr. Clemence Chow, a French-trained physician and first generation American, dreamed of helping CSUMB students who could not afford a university education. She also wanted to remember and honor her late husband, Yukon Chow. Clemence provided in her will that CSUMB receive her home in Monterey to establish the Yukon and Clemence T. Chow Scholarship Endowment. This memorial endowment, funded with the proceeds of the sale of Clemence's home, will provide, in perpetuity, scholarships for students that will change their lives.

You also may want to make it easy and convenient to have a bequest included in your will. The language here shows how a bequest can very easily be included in your will.
